Panda Saru’s earthquake relief PSP bundle

The eBay auctions from Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong aren’t the only charitable efforts from the PlayStation family. Also released in a brick and mortar SonyStyle stores in Hong Kong is a special PSP bundle. The limited edition bundle contains a slim Mint Green colored PSP, Panda Saru plushie, Panda Saru folder, Panda Saru screen cleaner and Panda Saru PSP case for 1,888 Hong Kong dollars. That’s around $240 in US. A standalone PSP-2000 goes for 1,380 Hong Kong dollars ($175).

I haven’t seen any of these bundles in Hong Kong and the announcement of the Sichuan Saru bundle has vanished of the front page. The press release remains so the bundle is real, but perhaps in very limited quantities.

I want that Panda Saru.
