Pleinair playable in Disgaea DS, she drops rabbits

Nippon Ichi knows cameo characters are a way to lure their fanbase to a game and it comes with no surprise that Disgaea DS will have brand new characters. Crossover characters Adel (Disgaea 2), Rozalin (Disgaea 2) and Overlord Zetta (Makai Kingdom) can join Laharl’s brigade. Perhaps, more interesting to diehard Disgaea fans is the opportunity to play Pleinair, the newscaster has a thing for rabbits. Her attacks include calling a rain of rabbits from the sky, which sounds in place with the usual Disgaea sense of humor.

Other new features include Prinny Commentary, a new opening movie and many multiplayer modes. Just glancing over at the screenshots at Dengeki Online there are many more options than the one-on-one fights previously shown. Yeah! Too bad this doesn’t support Nintendo Wi-Fi play.
