In North America we know it as Rhaposdy: A Musical Adventure. In Japan it’s known as The Puppet Princess of Marl Kingdom. Whatever name you recall Nippon Ichi’s strategy RPG hybrid as Marl Oukoku no Ningyou Hime: Tenshi ga Kanaderu Ai no Uta (The Puppet Princess of Marl Kingdom: Love's Song Played by an Angel) is being translated into Nintendo DS game. I think this has been well known, but now the Rhapsody remake has a subtitle and a date. Japan will see this in stores on August 7.
Nippon Ichi hasn’t delved into how Marl Kingdom will be updated, but one of the new features allows players to control Kururu, Cornet’s puppet friend, in combat
At this time NIS America has not announced the game for North America, but it seems likely we’ll get an English version of it sometime this year.

Awesome news, I loved played the Playstation version.. the singing and dancing was hilarious fun. Yay, more quality portable gaming!
Yes!! Never got a chance on the PS1 version so I’ll love to give it a go now!
i loved this despite how mind numbingly easy it was. i cant wait to see what updates they made to it. no laharl plz.
I hated Rhapsopy myself. The battles were just too easy and got repetive really fast, and it was difficult finding the right way inside the caves, since every layout was exactly the same as the one before. But hey, if they can fix these problems for the remake, then I’m willing to give it a second chance.

Yea-yeah!
I noticed the battle stage has a different layout. It looks morel like how La Pucelle was set-up.
Does Atlus USA still own the rights to the first game? If/when NISA does decided to release it they’ll have to translate everything anyway, but what about the music?
