Bomberman comes to the PS3 and PSP

bombpsp.jpgHudson hasn’t got around to creating a Bomberman game for the PlayStation Network, but as a quick replacement the PsOne remake of the Bomberman game for the NES is now on the Japanese store. Like all of the PlayStation archives it costs 600 yen ($5). However, if you play the downloaded game on the PSP you won’t be able to use the multiplayer features.

Also on the store is a game in the Lord Monarch series, which was developed by Nihon Falcom. I wasn’t aware any installment came out on the PsOne, but Lord Monarch: New Gaia Kingdom Chronicles is up there. Kokobure Pukka is one of the more obscure titles on the service and it’s a digging game.

Here are the new games now on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Each one is 600 yen ($5):

You know I supposed if you like oddball RPGs a lot there is a decent amount on the Japanese store, but I would like to see a few more first rate titles available. It seems like everything is from Hamster.

  • There’s a ton of fairly interesting stuff on the Japanese store. Too bad I can’t play half of it. :/

So far I’ve d/led 4 games from the Jpn PSN, MGS, Policenauts (just finished it last night, awesome game), Goemon, and Ore no Shibakane wo Koeteyuke (the one w/ the kid face on the cover).

There seems to be some many good games I missed or didn’t have a chance to play before, and 600 yen is a steal, having the option to play on either the PSP or PS3 is a plus.
