Sony released a few Neopets games, but none of them remotely resemble Neopets Puzzle Adventure. Instead of being a platformer, Capcom’s Neopets game has ties to Reversi/Othello. The license sounds unappealing, but Neopets Puzzle Adventure got my attention because of the developer. Infinite Interactive, the team behind Puzzle Quest and later this year Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, is creating the game. Similar to the Puzzle Quest series, Neopets Puzzle Adventure is a versus style puzzle game.

If you are roped into the Neopets universe the Wii / DS / PC game has ties back to the virtual Neopets world. By playing the game you can earn codes to unlock items for your pets. While I’m not entirely familiar with the Neopets universe, linking a console game with items for another virtual world is a creative idea. Nexon should take notes for Maple Story DS, which still hasn’t been heard of since the initial announcement.

But yah, its been a while since anything has been said about it. NoK says it will still be coming out sometime this year, but who know when or if it will ever coem out.
