XNA developed game comes to XLA in July images

Built with XNA as a backbone, Schizoid is almost done with development. The choice of programming language grabbed headlines a year ago, but now Schizoid needs to get attention for its gameplay. The screenshots make Torpex look like a Geometry Wars clone, but one of the trailers video has a different feel. Take a look.

The trailer reminded me of Subspace offline where ships are tethered together. Interesting, but so little has been revealed about Torpex at this point. Well, compared to other indie games like Buku Sudoku we’re hearing substantially more about Torpex. The average Xbox Live Arcade release  really needs more publicity than a “surprise, this is what you’re getting on Wednesday bulletin.”
