There are millions of other giant robot franchises better suited to the genre, but they do it with Zoids for some reason. Still, making a tiger into a tank and putting rust all over it has a good amount of appeal--especially to those of us without PS3s who will be missing out on Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea 3. I’m not sure if its terrible or awesome that the Zoids franchise is getting a gritty, realistic mecha strategy game. There are millions of other giant robot franchises better suited to the genre, but they do it with Zoids for some reason. Still, making a tiger into a tank and putting rust all over it has a good amount of appeal–especially to those of us without PS3s who will be missing out on Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea 3.
