Raiden IV coming to the Xbox 360 and North America

riv.jpgInsert Credit found a Famitsu article confirming an arcade port of Raiden IV is on its way to the Xbox 360. The news “officially” slipped last year while UFO Interactive was fomenting interest in Raiden III. In an interview a product manager casually mentioned Raiden IV was coming to the Xbox 360 and their plans to bring it to North America. At that time it wasn’t decided if this was going to be a retail game or an Xbox Live Arcade title. Like Raiden Fighters Aces, Raiden IV will be a retail game in Japan.

No publisher was mentioned in Insert Credit’s report, but Success could be behind the Japanese release since the presentation options look “virtually identical”. The extra console only stages, boss rush, and score attack mode sound like great additions. We’re going to be watching UFO Interactive closely for more details and see if they pick up Raiden Fighters Aces.
