Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes is not going to be Gatchaman vs. Street Fighter. Capcom just revealed two new characters in the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom online comic. One of them is Batsu Ichimonji, the protagonist of the two Rival School games. It’s great to see Batsu back in action, but after years of absence he will have to face Tekkaman.

A robotic space knight from the future challenges a high school student. Wait that’s not right, Batsu should have graduated by now. Eight years have passed since Project Justice.

Definitely has me hyped up as much as SFIV! Hope they add Talbain from Darkstalkers, any Ace Attorney character and Gene from God Hand(unlikely though)……he’ll Dragon Kick some ass into the Milky Way…(milky way)!

I was hoping they would throw in Tekkaman in this game, alas, it’s the cheesy old one instead of the 90’s Tekkaman Blade remake :(.. Glad to see Rival School chars though, used to love that game w/ the simulation part.

Project Justice was one of the best fighting games I’ve ever played.

Dangit. Please include some of the BETTER characters, Capcom.

Batsu is the most boring character of the group. Go with the principal, the nurse, Dan’s protege Ran…

If this is fan service, then do the FANS some service and stop trotting out your boring, personality-free main characters. At the very least make sure to include the minor people we love, too.

(And make a deal with Arika and bring back Skullomania already!)
