Last week we gave a skeleton outline of Nippon Ichi’s downloadable content plan for Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. The first content pack for Japan comes out in June and it includes a few familiar faces.
Pick up the package on the PlayStation Store and Rozalin, the female lead from Disgaea 2, becomes an etiquette teacher in the Netherworld. Beat her and she will join your party. Adell, the male protagonist from Disgaea 2, can also band with your group and bring his fists of fury. Nippon Ichi is also including Neokmata monsters as part of the package, which can join your team and be used as a weapon with the demon change system. If you acquire the add-on pack you also get a special gift, a PlayStation 3 theme illustrated by Haruda Takehito, the character designer from the Disgaea series.
It isn’t clear if NIS America will include these content packs as part of the North American release which is scheduled to come out in August or if they will be rolled out as downloadable content too. It’s probably going to be the latter since NIS America briefly touched on a downloadable content plan at their press event held earlier this month.
Update: The retail price Nippon Ichi's press release stated 100 yen (around $1) was the price for the content. However, Adell, Rozalin and the Nekomata are individual pieces of content and each one costs 100 yen ($1). If you want all three, it's going to cost 300 yen ($3) and you get a Disgaea 3 theme as a bonus.
