Fans translate Monster Hunter 2G into English

Monster Hunter Portable 2G is a commercial success in Asia. However, Capcom hasn't given any sign if we’re going to see them bring it to North America. The game just came out in March so we could hear an announcement at E3, but in case it never comes there is another way to enjoy Monster Hunter Portable 2G without a kanji dictionary. Within a period of less than three months a passionate group of multilingual Monster Hunters almost finished translating the PSP game. There is even a save file converter so you can continue playing a legally imported copy of Monster Hunter Portable 2G in English.

I can’t believe THIS!! This is awesome news! Jeffx, I had no idea there was a translated version of Namco X Capcom game either. I’m wrapping up playing Wonder J project for SNES Fan Translated game. Everyone should try this original game.

Monster hunter two in english is great! Spencer, why not start a ne little niche….Fan Translated games. What do you think?

-First download the Papimeru.
-Unzip it.
-Then connect PSP to com via USB.
-Place the Papimeru folder into the GAME folder which is in the the PSP folder.
-Unplug PSP from com and run it like an ISO.

Please note that Custom PSP Firmware IS required, as well as an .iso of the game that you ripped yourself from the disc you own.

help … i done everything … right the game is almost in full english … but when i wan transfer character i can’t!!! the jap msg pop out at the end !! anyone can advise mi ?

there may be an issue with American and Japanese save files. :/

Well I transfer the save data from the Moster Hunter 2 Portable(JPN)
when It came out before the Patch and before the Moster Hunter 2 Freedom (ENG). Now I have my Hunter from MHP2 in MHP2G with Patch in English which rocks!

I did this transfer before knowing that this ENG patch was out, so Do the patch after u transfer the Save Data from MHP2 and not from MHF2.
