After a mouthwatering Virtual Console release list with Phantasy Star IV and Super Mario RPG this past month, July’s outlook just doesn’t look as good. There are some gems on the list like Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, a warm up for Fire Emblem: New Dark Dragon and the Blade of Light, costs 900 Wii Points ($9). Shining Force II is another classic, which has a fair chance of coming out in North America this month too. Shining Force came out last July in Japan and North America.
The game I’m most excited for is the PC-Engine version of Kiki Kai Kai, which costs a mere 600 Wii Points ($6). RELICS, a new MSX game, caught my attention to, but I haven’t played it so I don’t want to vouch on its quality.
Here is a quick list of what Japan gets next month.
