I had a lot of fun with Williams Pinball Collection, but I did discover recently that the emulation isn't perfect. Many games have incorrect sound, down to missing music and quotes in games with speech. The game most harmed by this is Funhouse, where Rudy becomes rather annoying during ball lock level 2.

To avoid the outlanes in sorcerer multi-ball just hit the ball in pretty much any way with the flipper at the top of the play field.

This game is incredible - well worth the money. We found it for $19.99 at Target (regular price), but I would have not felt too badly paying $29.99 for it (original regular price).

The Wii controls really add a lot to the gameplay. I could not imagine having as good of a time with the PS2 controller. As for the plunger control, I really found the analog stick on the Nunchuk to be very comfortable and precise. I can never get the distance detection to work effectively with the Wii, so I am glad they chose that method.

I wish they would continue the series using the same physics engine and control scheme (perhaps another set of Williams tables or rerelease the Gottlieb collection here in the US with this engine). Buy this game!
