AtomMany monsters tamed in the Dragon Quest V preview video
The hero in Dragon Quest V has the ability to charm monsters, which may not seem new thanks to the torrent of Dragon Quest Monsters games. Back on the Super Famicom teaming the hero up with a king Slime Knight was novel. The preview video shows plenty of that and hints at a brand new feature for the Nintendo DS version.
At the 2:50 mark an image of a woman comes up with a hint that she could be a new bride for the hero. One of the pivotal choices in Dragon Quest V is to choose from two brides. Dragon Quest V DS may bump the number up to three.

I thought it was already confirmed that there would be a new bride choice for this remake, but either ways it is a good thing even if I will not change my choice when playing the second time *my heart lies with Bianca*..

Id say this has got to be the best DS game of the year next to Final Fantasy 4.

As a Johnny-Come-Lately Dragon Quest fan (DQ8 was my first), I’m am super excited for these remakes. The graphics look awesome and I already know that the stories will be great. I can’t wait for these to hit Stateside.
