Young Goku searches for Dragonballs in September images Namco Bandai hasn’t said much about Dragonball DS other than it isn’t based on the Dragonball Z license. I’m satiated with the existing Dragonball Z fighting games anyways. Dragonball DS revisits the origin of the series with Goku as a child. Since the Bandai Label calendar just updated the release date from sometime in 2008 to September 18 we should find out more soon, perhaps at Atari’s E3 booth.

Looking further down Bandai’s release schedule One Piece: Unlimited Cruise Episode 1 doesn’t have a concrete release date and it’s supposedly coming out this summer. We’re just starting the summer months so it should get a solid date soon unless it’s delayed.

Looking forward to DB on the DS, the scans look very good. I'm having a blast with Dragonball Advanced Adventure right now, thanks to the Levi's recommendation (picked up a new copy for cheap too :).

i am currently reading dragon ball for the first time and i'm enjoying it. i have never had any interest in Z, but the adventure story of DB really got me hooked. it's really charming and playful, and i was just recently lamenting the fact that i never see any love for it, only DBZ. this is some really great, timely news for me.
