In April we mentioned the existence of Motorstorm Complete, a repackaged version of Motorstorm with online play (note: the original version of Motorstorm in Japan did not ship with online play) and existing downloadable content on a single Blu-ray disc. The price of Motorstorm Complete was a notch higher than a vanilla copy of Motorstorm, but even with the weak dollar to yen exchange rate the price for Motorstorm Complete is still better than the $60 Amazon charges for Motorstorm in the USA.
Sometime in the near future Europe will have a chance to purchase Motorstorm Complete too since it was rated by PEGI. Motorstorm Complete might be the “Greatest Hits” re-release, but it’s possible that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe will have two Motorstorm SKUs. Actually, re-releasing games with included downloadable extras is starting to become more common with other retail repacks like Marvel Ultimate Alliance Gold and the recent two disc Gears of War package.
