Though short it may be, someone from Nico Nico Douga has managed to upload a video of what appears to be official Mega Man 9 gameplay. As such, someone from YouTube was nice enough to transfer and upload the video, giving you, the viewer, the honor of being able to watch it. Hopefully as of this posting the video is not removed, so watch to your hearts content.
After all, the music is awesome!

it’s nice to know that SOMETHING worthwhile is coming out of WiiWare because everything since Lost Winds has been a joke.
Trying to complete retro 8-bit games like Mega-man, is going to be a pain in the bum. Also, me want BOMBERMAN ONLINE!!!!!!
You know seeing this in action makes me wonder something. This game doesn’t just look like it is in the NES style but really does look like it would run on the NES. Makes me wonder if they are just taking the NES VC emu and injecting the MM9 rom into it. Would be interesting. I guess once it is released we will know after the hackers have a field day with this. Still looking forward to this one big time.
@Daizyujin: I highly doubt programmers would go through the pain of coding a NES game in assembly language just to “take advantage” of the existing emulator.
@CRIMExTHINK
Perhaps not but the thought crossed my mind as it is possible. That being said the more I thought about it the point of piracy actually comes to mind as a bigger reason they wouldn’t do it. One only needs to go to sites like wiiso.com and others to see the potential problems that could happen. Considering they already can strip a rom from a VC game and replace it with another I would figure it stands that a rom could be ejected from the game and pieced into a compatible NES rom. While I would find it mildly cool to play this on an actual NES, I don’t think Capcom would find it all that amusing. Scratch my last post on that one. I guess I just was thinking a little too hard about what they might be doing.
Can anybody read the subtitle? I know the Rockman games usually have one and this one don’t appear to be any different. Just curious.
The subtitle is something along the lines of “Resurrection of Ambition”. Pretty self-explanatory I suppose.

i can’t believe there are ‘gamers’ who don’t want exactly this. BURN THEM!
