Regarding the Star Parodier footage: A-freakin’-dorable. I know the whole parody thing is going to incite connections to Parodius, but this game feels so much more cutesy — like Twinbee, only not cloying or created for the merchandising opportunities.

That’s awesome; the PSP is an awesome platform for SHMUP compilations. But a brand new widescreen+horizontal SHMUP would be even better!!! I know verts are much more popular, but who could say no to a new Gradius?
