Wii Music has air drumming

And saxaphone playing…

Wii Music is designed to give the joy of playing music. You don't need to follow guides or notes to play the game. Wii Music acts as an instrument simulator. Around 50 instruments including piano, violin, takio drum, bass, cowbell, and electric guitar. The drum set can use the balance board for a full drumming experience.

You can play the Super Mario Brothers theme in an orchestra with four people. A hit for this holiday? Wii Music and Animal Crossing City Folk were the only first party Wii games from Nintendo shown at the press conference scheduled to come out this Holiday season.

  • This will be a killer app because of the cow bell alone. Seriously, it looked like a lot of fun.

That was the worst E3 Press Conference ever.

No thank you on non-rhythm based Rock Band light.

I was more annoyed that the whole press conference was just a brag fest. Seriously they showed next to nothing, poopooed completely on the hardcore gamer almost to the point of insulting them and then showed not one but "two" new accessories. It was an awful press conference. All brag but nothing to back it up. I basically get from their speak that they are happy to just let existing software sell without breaking a sweat with anything new. Two new titles for 2008 for Wii. Now I see why they have not shown anything until now about their lineup for the fall, because it is pretty much non-existent. I never would have thought Nintendo would leave it to 3rd parties as much as they have. Thanks for Animal Crossing, I think after that I we may just as well forget Nintendo doing anything for the Wii outside of casual gaming. Its sad but I think they truly care less about all the people that kept them going the past 10 years.
