No one is going to buy this game otherwise. Certainly no one in the current Rock Band/Guitar Hero market is going to buy it. It's the laughing stock of that crowd. Their best bet would be to not pay license fees for any popular artists, and instead go entirely Bemani. Their costs would be lower and they'd at least then pick up sales to Bemani fans, and they are out there. They could establish it as a niche product and be successful with it. I might be interested in the game if they went that route. If it's filled with popular rock and metal bands, I definitely won't be picking it up. I doubt I'd buy the drum kit either way. The development team in America is partially to blame for not working with the its more loyal fans AT ALL. and this lawsuit business shines a negative light on everyone.
