Time Hollow warps into August

Time Hollow warps into August imagesKonami always had plans to bring Time Hollow to North America. Back at Tokyo Game Show they casually announced it. At E3 they briefly mentioned it existed. In case you didn’t catch it, Time Hollow is coming out this August. The English version is a straightforward localization with no added features. They changed Horo’s name to Ethan, but the tone of the story is the same. In Time Hollow you use the Hollow Pen to draw wormholes to the past as a method to solve problems into the future. With only a month until Time Hollow comes out it and little buzz the time traveling adventure game is coming out at the wrong time.

    It comes out in AUGUST? I thought for sure it was going to take much longer with how little they mentioned this game. Thanks for the heads up. =P

    This is coming out much sooner than I expected. I was eyeing on the Jpn version forever hoping that it would go on sale but it never did.. I guess they have to localize the names to bring familiarity to the Western audience. It's no big deal as long as the story is the same. So what's the punch line in the Eng. name, Ethan Hollow?

    Well, I know what will be in my DS this August.

    With his name as Ethan now, everyone will probably forget this game takes place in Japan.

    @Whorl

    Yep, just like Trauma Center, Jake Hunter, Phoenix Wright, etc, where they completely change the setting from Japan to the US pretty much. For Phoenix Wright, both version of the names are very dear to me though. I guess they would do the same thing for the upcoming Lux-Pain?
