Instead of seeing established franchises at Tecmo’s E3 booth the US division announced partnerships with Vogster Entertainment and Eko Software to release Robocalypse and SPRay. What happened to Monster Rancher DS, Fatal Frame 4, and Rygar: The Battle of Argus? An e-mail sent by Tecmo USA explains why two of the three games weren’t at the show.
Several of you asked about Tecmo’s other titles that have been announced in Japan which were not on display at the show. Fatal Frame 4 (Wii) will be published by Nintendo, so please contact your Nintendo PR contact for further information. Rygar: The Battle of Argus (Wii) is in development and we are planning to provide more information this fall.
Nintendo has not officially announced regarding Fatal Frame 4 in North America, but this snippet suggests Nintendo of America will publish the game. Nintendo is publishing the game in Japan on July 31. Rygar has been missing in action for awhile, but if information is coming this fall we should see Rygar: The Battle of Argus at Tokyo Game Show.

NoA’s publishing Fatal Frame 4? Sweet. Guess I got another game to look forward to.
Well…according to GoNintendo, Nintendo of America wasn´t even aware of Fatal Frame IV at E3…which is really…unbelievable and unsettling…

I´m still confident that it will get localized though, because it wouldn´t make any sense not to. However, it makes me wonder whether they are aware or not of other Nintendo Japan titles like ASH, Soma Bringer or Glory of Heracles that I´m hoping that get localized…
I expect it’ll be several months before Nintendo even announces FF4 for the US, and several more months before the actual release.
I’m a little surprised Rygar is taking so long though. Isn’t it just a port?
@EvilAkito
It was supposed to be remake, not a port (maybe now it´s not even that). The design for the main character was changed (much better in my opinion) and it was also supposed to include several other changes, including of course, motion controls.
There´s several images, interviews and even a video on the web if you´re interested. Although the game may change completely after this delay…
Now, on a completely different topic…could someone “unlock” my previous comment ? I´m guessing it´s in moderation because of the link I posted… I´ll remember that next time…

I’m a huge fan of Rygar for PS2 so this is pleasing news to say the least.
