Wylfred and Lenneth cross swords in October

In Valkyrie Profile: Togo wo Seou Mono (Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One) Lenneth, the protagonist of the original game in the series, is viewed as a villain. Wylfred (pictured) seeks revenge against Lenneth for taking his father’s soul. This leads into tactical battles blended with the familiar button mashing system used to purify weird souls. The official site notes Valkyrie Profile: Togo wo Seou Mono will be in stores in Japan on October 2.

Square Enix has not announced plans for an international release at this time, but we may just see the game in North America under the name Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume.
