Cid joins Chocobo in a mysterious dungeon in October

The time between the US release of Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Dungeon and debut of Cid and Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Time DS + is a mere four months. Square Enix has the DS remake scheduled to come out on October 30 in Japan. Besides being portable the DS version adds Cid as a playable character and a new job yet to be decided by the public. The catch is the DS version isn’t as aesthetically pleasing as the Wii release. Check out this video comparison to see what I mean.

Square Enix hasn’t confirmed if they will release Cid and Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Time DS + outside of Japan, but I think they will. Most of the localization work is done and rougelikes sell well on the DS. Keep your eyes out for something like Final Fantasy Fables: Cid & Chocobo’s Dungeon + in 2009.
