Ubisoft silently picks up Armored Core for Answer imagesInsert Credit posted this as a rumor last week, but Armored Core for Answer will be published outside of Japan thanks to Ubisoft. The game appeared on Ubisoft’s first quarter financial statement along with Curling for the DS, but only Canada gets that. Armored Core for Answer is supposedly coming out between now and September and it didn’t make a blip at E3. The Japanese version was finished four months ago. This can’t be a good sign for the game, which is already a niche title.

I have a bad feeling Armored Core for Answer will be this year’s Wartech: Senko no Ronde. The plus side is the lack of marketing may force retailers to cut the game’s price juristically. I saw copies of Senko no Ronde being sold for around $10, a steal in my opinion, at Gamestop.

This is the only gaming site that ever mentions Curling without a sarcastic tone.
