Core genres!?

Just because RPG’s are considered to be for hardcore gamers in the US or Europe, doesn’t mean it’s the case in Japan…
RPG is one of the most popualr genre in Japan, it’s not core at all!
In the US when they survey women and ask them if the play video games and what genres, they answer stuff like free cell, puzzles… In Japan they answer RPG’s as much as puzzle games.

RPG’s are NOT a hardcore gaming genre.

I agree with Shining Force and especially Skies of Arcadia. Though I’m probably one of the few who wants another Phantasy Star Universe expansion.

I agree with the above commenters. Another traditional Shining Force and perhaps a Skies of Arcadia sequel would be nice too.
