Chrono Trigger DS playable at Leipzig Games Convention

Europe isn’t getting Chrono Trigger until early 2009, but their first taste of it is coming this month. Tony sends word (thanks!!) the USK (German ESRB equivalent) rated a Chrono Trigger demo specifically for the show. Leipzig Games Convention is a public show so anyone waiting to get their hands on the Chrono Trigger demo should eagerly run up to the Square Enix booth to check it out. My guess is this will be the same demo we saw and played at E3, but this is probably the first time it’s available to the public.

My first thought was “lol”, because I’m going to Leipzig (I live in Germany + Fanatic/Hardcore gamer since I was 2 years old = more than enough reasons to go to the GC in Leipizig^^ ). But I already played Chrono Trigger on the SNES and later (with the anime cutscenes) on the PSX, so I’m not sure if it’s worth the time spending on the GC.

  • I forgot that the PAL regions never got this game in its original form. Good for them.

Well I don`t think id bother waiting for the pal version unless they add something new to it,

I am pretty happy for this port though, to finally be able to get the game without getting an imported snes…

Same reason here, coming from Germany too. :]
