Demon negotiating shown in Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon trailer

Atlus posted the first Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon clip on the official site (click on movie, sixth option from the left, marked with new) and it gives a glimpse of the game. Raidou fights a vicious looking grasshopper-like demon in it. You probably can’t parlay with it to join one of the two demons under your control. Other demons are a different story. The movie shows Raidou discussing with demons in typical Shin Megami Tensei style even though this is a spinoff. Capturing demons won’t be as easy as button mashing this time around.

While Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon is a standalone game I’m much more curious about the limited edition which includes Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne Maniacs Chronicle Edition and the soundtrack. Atlus still hasn’t clearly explained what Raidou does in the game. He’s playable, but that’s about all we know about it.
