Hello Hello: Riiiight…because we all know that we played hundreds of PS1 games on the PS2 and we’re all dying to get our PS3s so we can play PS2 games. /sarcasm After all, it isn’t that hard to unplug the component cables of the PS3 and insert the PS2 ones when you want to play with the PS2 games again.

Anyways, I personally think that 160 GB is a bit too much, but Sony sure likes to make me want it by including Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune (which is a game I want to get) and a bunch of other stuff. Hmm, maybe I will pick this version of the PS3 up.

Let’s see how many GB versions of the PlayStation 3 there are…
20, 40, 60, 80, and NOW, the 160 GB PS3?!?!?! I don’t know why anyone would buy that much games not even good enough for the 80 GB PS3. But now, Sony just wants to turn to the 22nd century. 160 GB PlayStation 3? Outrageous.

Sure, w/ 160 HDD (compared to 40 & 80 Gb), Dual shock 3, a game, a console, and a Blu-ray player. Could not ask for more.

If you think $500 is expensive, there’s always the $400 option. I guess Sony should just hand out the system for free.

W/ games that cost $50-60 a piece, what should we poor gamers do these days …

Dang, what a bargain, the deals are just getting better and better don’t they. I assume this doesn’t have B/C though right?

Is it hard to swap new hard drive and transfer all the contents? I know it’s not proprietary like the 360.. Now I find myself in the same situation for my PS3 like w/ my old 360 20Gb hard drive (upgraded to 120Gb since). The whole 60 Gb is almost gone w/ mandatory installs for games like MGS4, DMC4, Heavenly Sword, Lost Planet, etc. I’m choosing which demos or videos to delete.. And to think that Sony gave people 20Gb as an option in the beginning…

Give me a $299 PS3 without a HDD at all for all I care. Not going to bother without a significant price cut and not interested in BD playback functionality either.
