Only Japan gets colored Wiimote straps in September

Nintendo isn’t ready to release a Wii remote rainbow yet. If you want to distinguish your remote in a Wii Sports party you can do it with a different color Nintendo branded wrist strap. Four colors will be released this September in Japan: blue, green, pink, and white. You get all four in the set pictured above for 1,000 yen ($9.25), but you can purchase an individual strap for 300 yen ($2.75). Different colors, I see that it. Why white then? Is it supposed to be a replacement strap? If so then why is it bundled with the four pack of wrist straps?

10 bucks, wow that has to be the most expensive unnecessary accessory, and like you said one of them is the regular white. People should just get the white ones from Nintendo for free and then paint them :) Which begs the question, when are they going to release diff. color Wii consoles and actual remotes, seriously I crave a stylish and sleek onyx Wii (if I’m getting a 2nd Jpn console)

Get you some bleach and Rit dye and get the same effect for a lot less.
