It’s the return of the Hanabi Festival in Europe which means they get a wave of import Virtual Console games. Nintendo is kicking it off by releasing Super Mario RPG for 900 Wii Points ($9). Mallow, Geno, and the Legend of the Seven Stars are entirely new things for Europe to experience without importing or PC emulators. Super Mario: The Lost Levels aka the true Super Mario Brothers 2 is the other “new” game, but it isn’t “new”. Nintendo just pulled it from the Virtual Console store making it a limited release at the time. Fortunately for Europe and the rest of the PAL territories time limits and false scarcity don’t exist on the Virtual Console anymore.
In June Nintendo released Super Mario RPG in Japan which makes North America the only region that doesn't have Super Mario RPG as a downloadable game. It's OK we have plenty of Gameloft WiiWare games to keep us busy.

What! Ninty fans would give up all Gameloft d/l for SM/RPG.
mmmm…. all the gameloft games are pure crap, i really want Mario RPG.
@Reign1770 - I don’t know if you caught this or not but the “It’s OK” part is italicized because it’s a sarcastic comment.
