NIS Europe launching two DS games in Europe before March 2009

Square Enix licensed the rights to publish Disgaea 3 in Europe, but NIS Europe still exists. Nippon Ichi’s PAL branch will start out by releasing two Nintendo DS games before March 2009. No titles were named in the press release, but NIS Europe has a healthy selection of games from NIS America to pick up. Disgaea DS, Rhapsody DS, A Witch’s Tale, and Puchi Puchi Virus should all be ready by then. NIS Europe could throw us a curve ball by localizing one the more unusual games from Nippon Ichi like Jigsaw World: Daigekitou! Jig-Battle Heroes, but I wouldn’t count on it. We’ll be watching NIS Europe carefully just in case something like that does happen though.
