@keii and spencer; is it that anoying to play when you are left handed? usually when I play a ds game, book style or not, I tend to randomly switch the hand in which I hold the stylus and it works fine either way, no matter if I selected right or left hand.

The game looks great, seems like a good possibility to put my language skills to the test again.

Is the battle system any good? I heard it depends which pile you choose a card from will determine what direction you attack in? Sounds kinda weird.

Very nice review, at first the cards remind me of Baten Kaitos. Very curious about the game now, especially the murder solving part.

Speaking of going back in time to change the course of events, Infinite Loop felt very boring because there's almost no sense of urgency in solving a murder mystery. It was hard to figure out the clue to cast into someone's dream too..

Glad to hear there's a lot of voice acting for a DS game since it depends so much on sound. I would most likely be getting the Jpn version to hear Hirano Aya as Neon, she's too good.

@Keii - You make an intelligent point. Sigma Harmonics doesn't have a left handed control scheme like Rhythm Heaven. :(

Fortunately, the game doesn't have twitch motions so it shouldn't be impossible to play if you're left handed.

Great preview, I'm enjoying the game quite a bit myself.
You didn't mention this, but the roaming "mini-bosses" on the later stages also forces a bit of strategy since they can be pretty difficult if you're not prepared and also has their own movement patterns.

The worst thing about the game is that it's not left-handed people friendly...

Excellent review Spencer.

I really enjoy playing this game and the Reasoning system is fun as hell. I also tried myself the difficulty increase on bosses when you incorrectly solve the cases. Now Masashi Hamauzu did a pretty good job on the music. I love his style as always.

Can't wait now for an english version, since my read japanese skills arent 100% well for this game, dispite my spoken skills.
