As expected, Avalon Code is aesthetically pleasing

Matrix Software has done fantastic work 3D work on the Nintendo DS and Avalon Code is no exception. This two minute promotional video is eye catching. Avalon Code’s book system is quite novel too. You can rewrite a magical book by moving pages on the touch screen to give enemies weaknesses, enhance your weapons, and affect story events. Collected pages can also be traded over Nintendo Wi-Fi.  If exploiting weaknesses doesn’t sound interesting Yumiru, the male hero, can knock monsters into outer space.

Marvelous will release Avalon Code in Japan on October 16 and Xseed will publish the game in North America early next year.

This will probably be fighting with Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates to be my favourite Action-RPG on DS >.<

Can’t wait for October, it looks like a lot of fun! But before that I’ll have to finish up Sigma Harmonics first =X

Lastly, thanks Spencer you made my day by showing us this amazing trailer =)

Looks great indeed, and I also like the music.

Like always, I hope that the vocal theme remains intact…(I´m guessing that it appears in the game), as well as getting an option to turn voices off for those who don´t like them (I´m also guessing that the game won´t include its original voices due to being on DS).

Looks like a great action RPG. Of course, I’ve been disappointed by action RPGs on too many occasions, so I’ll have to remain cautiously optimistic.

Damn, the game looks awesome, but the main characters looks like the main character of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, but who cares this game is going to rock.
