Standby time increased for official PS3 bluetooth headset

snhsThe bluetooth headset bundled with Warhawk wasn’t an official PlayStation branded product. If you must have all things Sony, an official PS3 wireless headset will arrive in stores on October 30 for 5000 yen ($46) in Japan. Wow, that’s close to the same price as last year’s Warhawk Blu-ray bundle. A game doesn’t come with this accessory, but Sony’s headset comes with a charging cradle. The headset also has close to double the standby time compared to the Jabra BT125 bundled with Warhawk. Sony’s headset can stay on standby for 300 hours. The Jabra BT125 has 170 hours of standby time. Both have eight hours of talk time.

  • Nice one. I have stumbled and twittered this for my friends. Hope others find it as interesting as I did.
