Last year we found out Rocket Company was working on a Wii boxing game, which was delayed, forgotten, and in the spirit of Wii revivals actually coming out in the next few months. Japan will see it in stores on October 30. Now renamed Shape Boxing Wii de Enjoy Diet, Rocket Company’s plan is to translate the Kyoei boxing training into 28 lessons. Details are still uncertain about how it uses the balance board and if it will be more accurate that Wii Sports boxing. We do know, however, Shape Boxing Wii de Enjoy Diet doesn’t support Miis and lets players punch bears.

Boxing in Wii Sports was fun, but I heard Hajime no Ippo Revolution was a let down..
So this wouldn’t utilize the motion plus to give more precise movement? I guess this is more like Tae bo than a real boxing game.
