fair enough, although for me soul calibur is not a spin-off of soul edge. it was a badly picked out example though

Actually, it’d be more like if Namco had called Soulcalibur Legends, Soul Edge 2.

here’s a game that I still regard as something that should have never happened. Not only the fact that it is exclusive to a platform that doesn’t sell in japan (their core market) but most of all… it is named GG2… and I can’t see it as anything more than a spin-off that so far doesn’t interest me at all.

I mean… it has about the same difference from GG as Soul Calibur Legends has to Soul Calibur. now, let’s say Namco called that travesti, called Soul Calibur Legends say… Soul Calibur 4?
