S4 League lives, currently in open beta

Before Pentavision unveiled the DJ Max Metro project their next game was thought to be the stylish arena shooter S4 League. Shortly after a trailer surfaced news about the project faded, but S4 League is progressing nicely. Actually, it’s playable. A la Playa, a European based online games publisher who appears to specialize in Korean developed games, is running an open beta for S4 League. You won’t need a Rosetta stone to play this either, S4 League is already in English.

 

Now that the game is out we know a bit more about it too. You have a selection of close range weapons like a giant bat and guns to use in the arena. These two YouTube clips go into detail about how each kind of weapon works.
