Blue Dragon Plus Ignition Entertainment

bdp Ignition Entertainment aka AQ Interactive’s new best friend will take care of publishing Blue Dragon Plus in North America and Europe. While the game was released in Japan just a few weeks ago to dismal sales we’re not going to see Blue Dragon Plus this year. Shu’s quest to quell mysterious cubes is slated for a release in March 2009.

 

Blue Dragon Plus will be the third AQ Interactive game published internationally by Ignition Entertainment. They enthusiastically picked up Vampire Rain: Altered Species, unexpectedly grabbed Dokomodake DS, and now snagged Blue Dragon Plus. The way Ignition is moving now it wouldn’t surprise me if they went out of their way to publish The World of Golden Eggs Nori Nori Rhythm Kei too. Ignition is a wild card.

  • How good of a job is Ignition at translation? That's one thing I always worry about.
  • From what I understand they had "help" with the localization so they aren't translating the game alone.

    Ingintion's also handling the PS3 port of Artoon's Vampire Rain btw. They seem to be getting really close to AQi.
