Phantasy Star Zero connects DS owners in December

pszero When Sega said Phantasy Star Zero was coming out this winter in Japan they meant December 25. The release date was announced at a Tokyo press conference where Sega focused primarily on RPGs. One of the novel features in Phantasy Star Zero is it’s visual chat system. Using the touch screen players can draw, save, and recall pictures that appear as chat bubbles during online play. This is basically in game Pictochat.

Phantasy Star Zero is not the only role playing game Sega plans to release on the DS in December. Blazer Drive, a mysticker battle RPG is scheduled to come out on December 4th. At this time neither game has been announced for North America.

  • Lucky them. Best (kinda) Christmas present of '08. That is if you own a DS. I am looking forward to this game and how popular it will get.
