Success Pays Tribute To Shenmue With A Ryo Hazuki Doppelganger?

With Shenmue 3 nowhere in the near future what is Ryo Hazuki doing with his free time? Did he just stumble into a cameo role in Success’ Yakuza beat em up, Yajuu Keiji (Beast Detective)? As one shrewd Insert Credit forum member points out a story screenshot has a character who looks like the spitting image of Ryo Hazuki. Since Sega owns the rights to Ryo Hazuki it can’t be him. The unnamed background character could just be a long lost twin brother with an identical outfit or a freak coincidence. Unless an art designer steps forward we’ll never know for sure. Nevertheless, this is an interesting find!

I don't think Ryu is the only one with such a type of style or jacket you know..

Plus there is a logo on his jacket, so just pure speculation..

Well, I saw the pic in my DS and the shoes are not the same, also the guy has a huge key chain, Ryo didn't wear one of these...
Ryo has some unfinished bussiness somewhere in China and the picture from above was taken in Japan :)

Brings a sadness to me too every time I heard "Shenmue 3", they need to give us fans some closure.. I want Yajuu Keiji too, looks like an awesome beat em up.

@jeffx - Yeah it's a DS game and it came out yesterday in Japan.

If you play Virtual cop 2 for Sega Saturn, you'll see a Shenmue advertisement in the game hidden on one of the walls. I know its not really related, but I wanted to mention it, because...well thats life.
