Japan Gets A Meager October Virtual Console Schedule

By Spencer . September 26, 2008 . 6:27pm

kus Since Nintendo launched WiiWare the Virtual Console has taken a back seat with fewer releases each month. October is going to be no exception in Japan where only nine new games are going to be added online. Fortunately, some of them are quality games like Donkey Kong Country 3, Kunio-Kun Soccer, and a surprising addition of a Supergrafx game. An enhanced version of Dai Makaimura better known as Ghouls ‘n Ghosts can be yours for $8.

Here’s what Japan gets in October 2008:

Nintendo (500 Wii Points)
Kanshakudama Nage Kantarou no Toukaidou Gojuusan Tsugi
Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
Nintendo World Cup (Actually, a Kunio-Kun game!)

Super Nintendo (800 Wii Points)
Donkey Kong Country 3

Master System (500 Wii Points)
Enduro Racer

TurboGrafx 16 (600 Wii Points)
New Zealand Story (aka Kiwi Kraze)

SuperGrafx (800 Wii Points)
Ghost and Ghouls

Turbo Duo (800 Wii Points)
Super Darius

Neo Geo (900 Wii Points)
Metal Slug 2

Ah, they are being evil, first they are going to release Metal Slug 2, and before we know it, they will also put up Metal Slug X, its remake.
