Valkyria Chronicles Demo Coming To PSN In Two Weeks

Sega is giving Valkyria Chronicles a fair push with a downloadable demo designed for the US. However, it’s being bundled with October’s issue of paid issue of Qore scheduled to come out on October 9. Keep your fingers crossed it come out as a standalone download at a later date like other Qore content. While you’re waiting here’s a new Valkyria Chronicles trailer to see.

I've been completely on the backburner on this game until yesterday when I ran into their pre-launch party thing they were gonna have at Metreon yesterday. Wasn't able to stay long enough to check out the event, but they had plenty of trailers playing and demos set up. Unfortunately, I had to wait until 5 pm to enjoy the goods, and I didn't have time.

But from what I saw, it looks to be an interesting turn-based 3D advance wars, with XIII comic-book text thrown in and nicely pencil-drawn animation.

I'll definitely be looking into checking out the demo when it's available.
