Konami’s TGS Lineup: The Only Surprise Is Seeing Metal Gear Solid 4 Again

skt Yawn. Don’t expect to see anything new from Konami’s Tokyo Game Show booth. They aren’t even teasing us with an unannounced PlayStation 3 game. You’ll have to go to Sony’s booth to see that. Konami’s announced TGS offerings consist of nine games and three of them will be out by the time show starts. I’m looking forward to checking out the adorable looking Little Magician’s Magic Adventure and of course Suikoden Tierkreis. By now we’ve all seen enough Metal Gear Solid 4 so we can skip that, unless Konami plans on showing us an repackaged special edition or a new expansion for Metal Gear Online.

In case you’re going to Tokyo Game Show here is what Konami has:

World Soccer Winning Eleven 2009 (PS3, Xbox 360)
Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3 – in video form only)
Metal Gear Online (PS3)
Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)
Little Magician’s Magic Adventure (DS)
Castlevania Judgment (Wii)
Castlevania Order of Ecclesia (DS)
Silent Hill Homecoming (PS3, Xbox 360)
Chaotic Eden (PC)

Not too exciting... kinda weird that the PS2/PSP/Wii versions of WE are absent too? Actually, checking Konami's upcoming games lists, seems there's a lot of titles missing (Yu-Gi-Oh 5D Wii, Yu-Gi-OH GX3 PSP, Powapuro MLB 2 PS2/Wii, Powapuro Pocket 11 DS, GTi Club PSN, Otomedius 360, Elebits DS, various DDR games for PS2/Wii/360, etc)
  • Great points! Konami is missing a lot of games in their pockets like you mentioned. The list might be incomplete, but it's all Konami announced at the moment. Hopefully Konami will have more to show than this.

Where is Lords of Shadow - Konami is definitely showing the Castlevania clone at TGS. I assume a new Metal Gear Solid is at Sony's booth - keep us posted!
