Not much “news” from the Sega front at Tokyo Game Show, but that’s probably because Sega recently held an event in Japan where they unveiled a number of RPGs. Shining Force Feather, Phantasy Star Zero, and Seventh Dragon will be at Sega’s booth in some form. The only odd addition on the list is Internet Adventure, a Sega hub world with rudimentary graphics for PCs.

Sega seems to have the best swag at their booth, but only at the moment since they have a list of announced swag. Stop by to get Infinite Space DVDs, inflatable Rappys, gold Mamaru Shiren cell phone charms, and Seventh Dragon stickers.

jarrod Says:

I said this another post, but Sega’s DS RPG lineup really does remind me of their heavy Saturn RPG output. Let’s hope they all make it west.

jeffx Says:

World Destruction is amazing… Xenogears-like amazing.

jarrod Says:

I’ve heard WD compared more to Grandia actually, at least in terms of it’s visual and tone. Really hope it makes it over, but 7th Dragon is honestly my most wanted DS RPG import.

JeremyR Says:

I wish they had given the PSP a little of that RPG love. Considering PSP sold what, 700k, I think they have an audience on that handheld.

jarrod Says:

I dunno, PSP was obviously riding MHP’s coat tails… I dunno if that’d translate to stuff like Shining Force, Culdcept or Shiren in any meaningful way?

Geoff Says:

They damn well better translate Shining Force or the internet will not be happy!
Also, boo no madworld

jarrod Says:

Madworld’s not getting a JP release due to violent content, that’s why it’s absent.
