Finally, Club Nintendo Comes To North America images At long last Nintendo is opening Club Nintendo up for North America sometime this holiday season. The coveted loyalty program brought exclusive Nintendo DS games like Tingle’s Balloon Fight to Japan and free Wii Points cards to European gamers. No specific swag has been announced, but there will be Club Nintendo exclusive items redeemed in exchange for loyalty coins earned by registering Nintendo products and filling out surveys. Keep your fingers crossed for a classic Super Nintendo controller Wii remote attachmen.

Sounds interesting, how do you join though? Is it 'invite only' or open to everyone?
  • @Me - It will be open to everyone just like other regions. You'll be able to sign up at Nintendo of America's page when it launches later this year.
  • I hope we get cool items to trade in the points for like Japan does and not something like a desktop wallpaper.

    it's about time!!
I was wondering if NA would ever get something cool like club nintendo.
  • jarrodand
I'd mostly like to redeem for points. It'd be cool if stuff like G&W Gallery or Tingle's Balloon Fight made it over though... maybe even as DSware?
  • Me
Awesome. Is there a membership fee or anything of the sort?
  • @Me - Nothing to pay, Club Nintendo is free.
