The Last Remnant Screens, Now In English

It looks like the Last Remnant includes reaction commands during battles. The screenshot above shows a player blocking an attack by pulling the right trigger. Interesting, but the Last Remnant’s combat system still doesn’t sound that different from other RPGs. Instead of commanding individual party members you bark orders to unions (read: parties) like “attack with mystical arts” to make a group cast spells. A few more tactics are shown in these screens like “save them, no matter what” which triggers attacking while healing and “play it by the ear” which sounds like you hand control over to the game’s AI.

We should be learning a lot more about the The Last Remnant at Tokyo Game Show where we get to try it for the first time. The final game comes out on November 20 worldwide.

Hopefully, they announce a ps3 date at tgs.

I think they’re giving 360 a window before talking about the PS3 rev. I wouldn’t expect it more than six months later though, probably by March.

Is anyone else kinda pissed that XBox keeps getting all the good games first or is it just me?

of course, Microsoft paid for that timed exclusivity, it’ll come to PS3, yes, but for now they’ll avoid talking about it like the fire.
