you might have to buy cards and choose a console for it to be on, but wouldn't it be possible to buy points online, save them on your Club Nintendo account, and take the number of points you want for the console you want? it would be more convenient and "green"....

I don't really care what kind of price points the cards are sold at as I rarely buy physical cards. Its good for people who don't have credit cards but it does otherwise is create more garbage. What I want to see like Sony has done in regards to the allotments you have to buy in when you purchase online. You just buy what you need for a transaction as long as it is $5.00 or over. You can just deposit $6.72 if that is what is needed to buy a particular piece of software. The whole points system is rediculous anyways as it is geared to force people to spend money they shouldn't have to.

Makes sense, since your Shop data isn't stored on the server, it's stored on the console, and there's no account system in place. Therefore, there's no existing way that the DSi could share points with your Wii.

Well, that's a huge let down from all the awesome news earlier. Wished they just use Nintendo Points as a whole for both of the systems.

Seeing those cards though, I wished they released some of the higher points card over here.

UGH! This is something that MS has already figured out between Zune and XBLMP. Very disappointing but not surprising. Like I said, Nintendo is hardly a technical company.
