Destiny Links Connects DS Dungeon Explorers Over Nintendo Wi-Fi Too

Destiny Links Connects DS Dungeon Explorers Over Nintendo Wi Fi Too Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time is one of many Nintendo DS RPGs with Nintendo Wi-Fi support. Sega has Phantasy Star Zero and Namco Bandai has Destiny Links. Details are still scarce, but one of the key features is up to four players can link up for online play via Nintendo Wi-Fi. Destiny Links doesn’t have any flashy graphics to show off, it’s sprite based, and appears to have a customizable attack system similar to Soma Bringer.

Unfortunately for Namco Bandai Destiny Links is in direct competition with Phantasy Star Zero and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. All three online DS RPGs are scheduled to come out this winter in Japan and Destiny Links is the clear underdog since it is not an established franchise.

Do all 3 of these games have Wi-Fi Co-Op play? If so, I’m definitely going to be picking up PS0 and FFCC: EoT! I’m going to wait to see if this game has enough oomph in it to warrant an purchase, or if it even comes to Canada.

Yes they do ^^. Man, it is great how the devs start to support DS online play lateley, especially with PSZ and the DS’s/Wii’s Crossplatform Onlineplay.

Wow, you’re right. They’re definitely going to face some stiff competition with the other two better known franchises.
