If it is really coming out in 2009 in Japan, they have little more than a year before the latest possible launch (I don't know if Japan has a holiday buying rush like the US, but if they do I'm sure SE will want it out in time for that). Time to start giving the public some real details about the game. That said I think it's a lousy decision to hold the US launch just so the Xbox 360 port can come out at the same time. This has nothing to do with console preference - if it's ready, why not release it? It's not a problem for them that the PS3 port of Last Remnant is releasing later than the 360 one. Its not like the Xbox 360 owners would be losing anything if their port's not ready yet. I can't see their North American audience being too thrilled about another half/whole year wait tacked on to what's been years of waiting since the 2006 reveal.
